2. Your Account

The DK Quiz is completely free to play and registering for your DK Quiz account is quick and easy. There are 2 ways to sign up:

• By Facebook – register using your Facebook log in details
• By Form – sign up using our simple form

Please note that you have to be 13 years or over to set up a quiz account.

Having a DK Quiz account gives you access to great features, rewards and much, much more. With your DK Quiz account you’ll be able to:

• Track your quiz scores on our leaderboard
• Unlock badges and bonus content
• Gain entry into prize draws
• Access your friends’ quiz scores
• Challenge your friends to quizzes

You can delete your DK Quiz account by following these steps:

• Logging in to www.dkquiz.com
• Clicking on the ‘profile’ tab
• Choose ‘My account’ from the left hand navigation
• Select ‘Delete Account’
• Clicking on the ‘DELETE ACCOUNT’ button

You’ll then see the following on-screen prompt:
“Your Facebook account is connected with the DK Quiz, but you do not have a DK Quiz account … If you have deleted your account and no longer want to see this message you must disconnect your Facebook account from The DK Quiz.”

By clicking on the text link, you’ll be taken to the ‘application settings’ page in Facebook where you can delete the application from your account.

Please note: Once you have clicked on the ‘Delete Account’ button, your account will be permanently deleted and your scores, rewards and extras will be lost.

You can do this simply by:

• Logging in to www.dkquiz.com
• Clicking on the ‘profile’ tab
• Choose ‘My account’ from the left hand navigation
• Select ‘Delete Account’
• Clicking on the ‘DELETE ACCOUNT’ button

And that’s it - your account will now be deleted

Please note: Once you have clicked on the ‘Delete Account’ button, your account will be permanently deleted and your scores, rewards and extras will be lost.

The DK Quiz audience is broken down into ‘Regions’ and we’ve done this for several reasons.

As well as great regional quiz content that’s relevant for players all around the world, your ‘DK Region’ setting allows us to offer players the correct versions of certain DK Quiz content, plus assigning your correct region is also a condition of entry for certain prize-draw competitions. 

The DK Quiz will automatically assign you a region, but if for any reason you think you’re receiving the wrong content, simply:

• Click on the ‘Profile’ tab
• Choose ‘My Account’ from the left hand navigation
• Choose from the ‘DK Region’ dropdown menu (UK & rest of world, USA, Australia or Canada)
• Click the ‘Save my settings’ button at the bottom of the page.

From now on, you’ll see questions and content with you in mind.

You can play DK quizzes in either a ‘timed’ or ‘untimed’ mode and you can set your default preference on your ‘My Account page’. The differences between the two settings are the effect it has on your score as you earn more points for a timed quiz and the pressure you want to put yourself under as you play.

Please note: You can also change whether a quiz is timed or not at quiz level. There’s a button on each quiz ‘start page’ that allows you to choose whether you want to play timed or untimed.
